Design Build Construction - Quality Control Discovery & Design

A client needed a quality control system for their field operations in order to avoid costly mistakes from interdisciplinary oversights in the building process. As their business grew it was becoming increasingly difficult to transfer their forty years of experience to the field and confirm vital steps in the process weren't overlooked. I digitized their existing paper system, built customizable project schedule templates in their software, and integrated the quality control checklists to the schedule. This allowed project managers to simply build a digital schedule of how they planned to build the project and have auto assigned quality control checklists dispatched to the labor responsible for that trade with due dates tied to the schedule. The client's forty years of experience were captured and built into a scalable workflow that ensured peace of mind and reduced the risk of costly oversights during the construction process.

Landscape Maintenance - Enterprise Software Implementation

A client was interested in switching software for their time tracking, job costing, inventory management, and invoicing but the in-house team did not have the capacity to take on the complex implementation process. I customized the software for them building out new estimate templates, inventory items, service catalogs, contracts, and invoicing formats. I helped train core team members while developing and implementing new standard operating procedures without disturbing their teams day-to-day operations. They were able to seamlessly switch to more powerful software and adapt their organizations workflow in a few months.

Snow Removal - Operational Development

A client was struggling to manage the growth and documentation of their late night labor intensive snow removal operations, leading to risk of costly slip and fall lawsuits. I helped redesign their operations structure to have site, zone, and territory managers with assigned subcontractors, equipment, and material storage locations for over 120 sites. I customized and implemented a new software for site condition documentation and quality control checks. I then developed the training modules and executed workshops for each position until their staff was fully trained. They were able to dramatically scale their operations in the coming years and defend themselves with proper documentation.
